Call Belle Vue Dental Practice and tell our team what's happened and what symptoms you're experiencing. This helps us understand the nature and urgency of your dental problem.

Emergency Assessment
We'll assess the affected tooth or area and discuss your symptoms. Where appropriate, an X-ray may be recommended to help us identify the cause of the problem.

Addressing the Immediate Problem
We'll explain what we've found and discuss what can be done to address the immediate concern. The treatment required will depend on the cause and condition of the affected tooth or area.

What If I Need Help When the Practice Is Closed?
If you need urgent dental advice outside our normal opening hours, call Belle Vue Dental Practice on 01268 759684 as usual. Your call will be automatically diverted to our out-of-hours service.
If we're unable to answer immediately, please leave a voicemail with your name, contact number and a brief description of the problem. Your message will be reviewed and we'll respond as soon as possible.

OUR OUT-OF-HOURS SERVICE IS INTENDED FOR URGENT PROBLEMS SUCH AS:
✓ Severe toothache not relieved by painkillers
✓ Facial swelling
✓ Dental trauma, such as a knocked-out or broken tooth
✓ Uncontrolled bleeding or problems following recent dental treatment

When to Seek Urgent Medical Help
Some symptoms require urgent medical attention rather than dental treatment. Please seek immediate medical attention at A&E if you experience difficulty breathing or swallowing, rapidly increasing facial swelling, trauma involving the facial bones, or heavy bleeding that does not stop.
